Baja Adventure Raptor Run

This epic Baja Adventure Raptor Run is brought to you by two seasoned off-road veterans — Daniel from Nevada Raptor Runs and Art from Coyote Offroad Adventures — who are combining their experience and passion for exploration to deliver a truly unforgettable journey!

With decades of off-road knowledge and countless miles across challenging terrain, a former Baja native with dual citizenship and a lifetime of experience navigating the backroads, missions, and coastlines of Baja California, Art Macfarland will lead the run in the front truck, guiding the group through remote and beautiful trails few ever get to see. Joining the team, Daniel brings his signature organization and leadership style that Raptor owners across the Southwest have come to trust!

To ensure safety and support throughout the adventure, the team will include:

  • A lead truck (Art – Coyote Offroad Adventures)

  • A sweep truck

  • A chase truck

  • A mechanic on-hand for quick fixes and peace of mind

  • A support trailer carrying tools and spares

Together, Daniel and Art have crafted a run that blends expert guidance, scenic routes, and full logistical support — giving you the confidence to focus on what matters most: the ride, the scenery, and the memories.

NVRR & COA Present: Baja Adventure Raptor Run

4 Days | Nearly 1000 Total Miles | Close to 500 Dirt Miles | Baja California, Mexico

Buckle in for an off-road experience unlike any other. The Baja Adventure Raptor Run is a four-day journey through the legendary backroads, coastlines, mountains, and deserts of Baja California. This isn't just a run — it's a full-blown adventure that will test your skills, reward you with breathtaking views, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1: From Mountains to the Pacific

Your adventure kicks off with a run through the scenic Baja mountains, where we make quick stops at Laguna Hanson and Ojos Negros. From there, we cruise along pavement into Valle de Trinidad for a must-stop at one of the region’s most famous taco stands. Then it's back on dirt, where we hug the coastline on a stunning blend of dirt and pavement with the Pacific Ocean just feet away. The day ends at our beachfront hotel in San Quintín — a perfect spot to relax after an incredible first day on the trail.

Day 2: Desert Trails and Mission Roads

We begin with pavement south to Cataviña, followed by dirt trails leading us back to the Pacific. Near Santa Rosaliita, we stop for another taco break, then hop on a short stretch of pavement to reach the turnoff for the historic San Borja Mission — a remote and beautiful site with deep Baja roots. After a brief stop, we hit dirt again before reaching the highway that takes us into Bahía de los Ángeles (BOLA), a peaceful fishing village nestled along the Gulf of California.

Day 3: Springs, Signatures, and the Sea of Cortez

We roll out of Bahia de los Angeles on pavement and head toward Frog Canyon, where a surprising water spring awaits — a rare sight in Northern Baja. After taking in the oasis-like scene, we continue on to Coco’s Corner, a Baja institution where every traveler signs the legendary guest book. The day wraps up with a stunning drive along the Sea of Cortez, with a scenic overlook stop before arriving in San Felipe for the night.

Day 4: Dry Lake Beds and a Dusty Finale

Our final day hits the dirt almost immediately after leaving the hotel, heading for Laguna del Diablo, a vast dry lake bed that offers incredible photo ops and a chance to open it up. We hit dirt again near Laguna Seca, another dry lake bed that showcases Baja’s rugged beauty. We emerge near Mexicali, just 20 miles from the border, with nearly 1,000 miles of unforgettable adventure behind us!
